Arabella's POV A small sigh escaped my lips as I continued to observe my lecturer passionately explaining the topic at hand. Strangely, every word he uttered seemed to float past me, devoid of meaning, even though they were among the simplest I had ever encountered. It felt as though my brain was malfunctioning, struggling to grasp the concepts he was presenting. When the lecture finally came to an end, I hurriedly gathered my belongings and stuffed them into my bag, a sense of emptiness lingering within me.
