"You've been avoiding me," Dylan said, sliding into the seat beside me in the library. "Shhhh," I hissed, shooting him a warning glare. "We’re in the library." I lowered my voice further, "Can we talk later? I have an assignment to finish." With that, I turned my attention back to the flickering screen of my old laptop. But Dylan had the audacity to slam my laptop shut, interrupting my focus. "We're going to talk now," he insisted, his eyes narrowing at me. I released a breath, disbelief washing over me.
