Anthony woke up to a sore side and a bad feeling. Immediately, he was up on all fours and scanning the room, sniffing the air. Somehow, he was back home, and with the sting in his side and the faint smell of the hospital on his fur, he quickly remembered that he had passed out in the back of an ambulance. But since he was still clearly living and able to move, that didn’t concern him at the moment. Where is William? Anthony could smell his mate’s scent in the air, along with Agnes’, and he immediately relaxed a little, knowing Agnes would care for William in his absence. He also smelled at least four other werewolves and growled despite himself.  He didn’t want to feel jealous that there had been three other males around his mate while he was unconscious, but he did all the same.
