Harry was a hundred feet from the Slater Victorian when a car headed into town splashed to a halt beside him. Gina Lamont, Natalya’s mom and Jessica’s aunt, rolled down the window. “Do you need a ride, Harry? Where’s your coat?” “Forgot it. I’m almost there.” “You sure?” He looked into the car. Gina was a tall, statuesque redhead and beside her sat a smaller woman who gave the impression of being almost entirely made up of flowing light brown hair.
