(Lynda’s point of view)              I sigh as I walk towards Emma, I can see the worried look on Emma’s face, ‘God this is not going to be good’ I think to myself as I get closer to her. “H-have you s-seen Mark?” she asks me while trying to hold back tears, “not since last night when he turned up here” I reply to her. After first I am not sure whether I should have told her the truth about seeing him or not, but I knew I had to tell her. I could not lie to my best friend, when all of this comes out, I do not want Emma to feel like I kept him in the dark. I open the door and let Emma go in before me, “he said you texted him, that you needed him last night” she says as she walks in. I shake my head as I walk in after her, I cannot believe he is lying to her, “I did not text him last night
