"Guys, our Acquaintance party is coming. Please choose Prince & Princess Theme. Don't choose KPOP." Alwina told us.

It's lunch time so we decided to hangout near the Engineering building since this place has wide space and surrounded by chairs. Then big trees serve as our shades from sunlight too.

"No. I don't want to. Let's choose KPOP theme guys." Sophie butted in.

"Sophieee, not all people want KPOP." Alwina gave her point.

"Just like what you've said, some people don't like fairytale theme. Everyone is entitled of their own preferences so-"

"Acquaintance Party? When?" I interrupted so they could stop arguing.

"Two weeks from now. It has been announced last month. If you haven't registered yet then do so, just check the link I sent in the group chat before. Oh wait, lemme DM you the link instead so you can vote now. Once you're done, that means you're registered." Alwina stated.

"Is there really a party like that?"

"Yiiizzzzz... They're doing it yearly to give chance for the juniors and seniors to get to know themselves more."

"Wow.. sounds fun."

"Yup! Just imagine, you're gonna meet different people, handsome boys and beautiful girls. In fact, I had attempted joining but they didn't allow because I was sophomore that time."

"Ahahah! That's fine. At least you have your chance now. Oh wait, you have boyfriend right?"

"That bastard! I don't wanna hear anything about him today! He stood me up the other night!"

Alwina's face looks so angry.

"Anyway, I have sent you the link. Check it and fill out the information needed and once you're done, you're automatically registered."

I nod and do as she says. It wasn't that long when Jax and Brad came.

"Hi guys. Here's your foods."

Jax handed us the food . Then Brad gave us the drinks.

"Thanks guys."

"Hey, guys! Is this true?" Sophie asked while her eyes at her phone.

"What?" Brad responded.

"There's also Battle of the Bands to be held during the day. It should be three to five members in a group that could join. Also this one is for any year levels."

"Really?!" I got excited.

I'm interested to join but I am not sure if they would allow outsiders for the other members."

"Yep. So girls, now you know and you know what to do." Jax said as he's grinning at us.

"We'll support you guys." Sophie affirmed.

"Well, let's just hope that we can find another member so we can join in."

"Don't worry, you can find one."

I was listening to the conversation as we continue eating when Brad asked.

"What theme did you pick Lei?"

Brad still has food in his mouth.

"Eeew! Why don't you swallow it first Brando?!" Sophie's retort earned a hiss from him.

Hahaha!

What's her deal with Brad? I wondered.

"I chose Crescendo." I still answered him.

"Cool! Good choice Lei." He and Jax did a fist bump when they heard my answer.

"Aye... why you chose that?." Alwina groaned in disapproval.

"Sorry guys.. I'm not into fairytales or Kpop. I'm into music and I want that day to be lively."

"It should be romantic since that's Acquaintance Party." Sabi ni Alwina

"Crescendo is also romantic in a musical way. Anyway, we have our own thoughts when it comes to expressing things in romantic way. I respect your choices. But, I'm sorry I stand with my decision." I explained.

Their mouth agape after they heard my point.

"Guys.. it seems that someone already won the crown." Sophie said.

"Hahaha! You guys are over acting. Stop it! You look ugly!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

Then our conversation went back to normal.

"Guys, don't forget to support us in the upcoming battle of the bands." Brad kept reminding us.

Now I know why their outfits are always like that but they look so attractive..

Oh! Why was I thinking of that?

Erase! Erase! Mentally shaking my head.

Anyway, I spoke with Jace and I found out that he's a senior and he's only taking some failed subjects he has last year.

That's why I only see him in Microeconomics and MIT subjects.

"You really have a groupband?" I asked.

"Yup. We have and we joined last year but we came second. Wildberries was the champion.."

Wildberries??

I know that group band. That's Pierce group!

"They deserved to win guys. We know that you're good but there's something you were missing or lacking to have that time. Unlike them they have the full package."

Sophie was like daydreaming when she said it.

"Wow! You don't have any support with our friends, do you?"

"Alwina is right. Are you really our friends Sophie?" It's Brad.

"I was just telling the truth guys. Of course you are my friends! I know you're good and I'm still supporting you. But we all knew that there's something unique with them. When they performed they were like the owners of the world and that we're part of it. Like they owned our attentions."

Alwina was about to say something but she was cut off by Sophie.

"Hep! Don't you dare to disagree! You're also a fan of them Alwina. Do you want me to show them the video?"

"Hahaha! Aren't you taking a joke Sophie.. Hahaa!"

"Tss.. you acted like I was the only one who's into them. Heck No! You're also one of us!"

"Traitor!" Brad commented. But he was only kidding.

"We need to support our friends Sophie. They're good too.. But you're definitely right! Hahaha! Wildberries got the full package! All their members are so good looking and if I can get a boyfriend from any of them then I will give anything and do everything for him. I'm gonna leave nothing for myself just to keep him with me forever!" Alwina was day dreaming.

"You wish!" Sophie responded.

I wondered how hot they really are aside from my husband. I haven't seen them all. Pierce showed some pictures of their performance that day but mostly those were just his pictures.

"Sophie is actually right. There's something missing with us that day Brad. That's the thing that we need to figure out and improve." Jax said

"What genre are you guys into?" I asked.

"We're into Rock Music." Sagot ni Brad.

"Who's your vocalist? Is it you Brad or Jax?"

They looked sad.

"That's actually our main problem. Our vocalist can't make it. He backed out."

"Ha? Why?" I asked.

"That's the day of his mother's operation and he has no one to be with his mom so he needs to be there for her. So we're doing some auditions for any interested people."

"Awww. Hopefully you guys can find the right vocalist."

My phone rang. It's my brother so I quickly answered.

"What's up, Nigel?"

Are you in school today?"

"Yeah. I am. It's actually my lunch. Why?"

"Great! Come here. I'm at the pantry near the mini chapel."

"Okay. I'm on my way."

After I disconnected the call I told my friends that I'm going to the pantry to meet my brother.

"Sure Hailey. Don't be late. You know our prof. She's a monster!" Jax said.

"Hahaha! I won't. Bye!"

I reached the pantry and scanned my eyes at the whole area then I heard somebody called my name.

"Hailey! Here!"

It's my brother so I walked there.

"Nigel.."

"Mom wanted to give you this. Bring it to your boarding house."

"What's this?"

"Foods." Nigel responded while I checked each box inside the cloth bag. Then I accidentally wandered my eyes to the guy in the middle.

My breath hitched when I saw him.

Pierce!!

He secretly winked at me and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Guys. My sister, Hailey."

"Hi Hailey..."

Waving my hands as I was greeting them. "Hi." I greeted them and acted like I was not affected by Pierce presence.

"Why you too were unidentical? He looked plain and you're not."

I didn't get his point but is he blind? Doesn't he see how me and Nigel have alot in common. Only our eyes and lips were different since I inherited mine from our mom and his is from dad.

"Stop it Borg.. My sister won't buy it. Right Pierce?"

"Don't you dare Borg..." Pierce has secret meaning behind his words.

I did not know what was that for so I just shrugged and let it slide.

"Have you had your lunch Hailey?" Pierce asked as part of his act and I secretly shake my head. He knew that I had my lunch already because we were texting each other earlier.

"Yeah.. I just had it.. But if you're gonna treat me into a fine restaurant, why not??" I smiled.

"Oh hahah! You're dead bro! You know what she always likes for treats." Nigel teased him.

"Sure! Let's go Hailey. I'm gonna treat you." Pierce ride on Nigel's game but little does my brother know that Pierce was serious and it's not that kind of treats that he meant.

Hahaha! This guy!

I know what he actually meant by his words.

"Oh! So you guys know each other??" A handsome guy asked. He's beside Pierce which I still find Pierce as the hottest among them. Then beside Pierce is another guy who's also a handsome one and next to him is my brother Nigel. They're all handsome.

"Pierce is our childhood friend that's why they know each other." Nigel explained to them.

"Nigel, I gotta go. Bye guys." I told them while I'm carrying the bag with full of boxes of food.

I'm gonna put them in my locker and I hope they wouldn't spoil.

"Bye Hailey. See you around.."

"Lemme help you." Pierce walked to my side and grabbed the bag.

"No need. I can manage. It isn't that heavy."

"I insist. Now, let's go! We don't want you to be late in your class." He said as he pulled her with him, away from them.

"I'll just bring these for her. There's someone here who's so cruel of letting his sister carry this bag of foods instead of him bringing over." Pierce told them while we're walking and we heard Nigel's response.

"Hahaha! You're a grown up man dude. Just do it for me. Hahah!" My brother was laughing but he didn't know that he's giving Pierce a favor.

When we're far from his group of friends that's his time to talk.

"I'm gonna put this in the car babe. It has mini freezer so these would be good there."

Oh! I definitely forgot!

"Okay. But can you remove your arm? Some students are watching us."

"I don't care.."

"Pieeerce!" I firmly said.

"Fine."

"How do you know where my room is?"

I asked Pierce when he led me to my room without even asking me. We headed here after placing the food in his car

"I know your schedules babe, so I should know where the rooms are. Besides, it's not that hard to find."

"Uh okay. Anyway, I have to go inside now..."

He nodded and kissed me on my forehead.

"Pierce!! Somebody will see us!!"

He's grinning at me. "See you tonight babe."

"Hmp!" I uttered and about to walk to my classroom but he held arm and stopped me.

"Where's my kiss?" He asked while pouting.

"Pierce, you need to go back. Nigel maybe wondering what took you so long. I'll just see you later. okay? I have to go."

"Kiss first." He's persistent.

"No. I'm gonna be late.."

"I'm gonna walk with you inside your classroom if you don't give me a kiss."

Ughhhh! Fine!

Two students just passed by so I waited until they're out of my sight then gave Pierce a smack on his lips..

"Bye." I ran into the room without waiting for his respond.
