At breakfast, Vincent kept firing questions at David, who calmly and patiently answered them. Some I had not thought to ask, and others I was glad to hear and relieved to hear.
'David, what will happen to me now? Do I need to become someone I am not? I have not trained.'
'Not at all; you continue to be you; I may call upon you from time to time to be present at a function, as I am sure everyone will find out sooner or later who you are. You already have good security, and I have some ideas for improving that if you are interested. But you are not in any danger. Keep being you.
