"Apologize?" I scoffed. "Apologize for what exactly? Father, I'm sorry I decided to do what made me happy and at peace. Is that what I should have apologised for? I don't know what I did to him to make him despise me this much. Okay, maybe I'm not living the life he wants me to live. Is that enough reason for him to treat me like trash?
