Clayton's POV:
It pained me to know that for the next few days, I will not be able to smell Cameron's scent, hear her voice or touch her soft skin to help soothe my pain in wanting her. The thing is, regardless of the pain my body will feel because I haven't been able to satisfy its need to mark and mate with her, I knew that I needed to be put somewhere where I can't get out. The fact that I was so close to marking her which ultimately would have led to my death, told me that I needed to be locked up.
