Cameron's POV:
I startled awake when I heard the door slam shut. I sat up quickly when I saw that it was that one vampire that brought me here. I don't know how long I was asleep for but I felt much better now than I did when I was first put into this room. I looked at both of his hands and saw that he didn't come back with anything in his hands, not even a bottle of water.
"I thought you were bringing back some water," I told him and that's when the look in his eyes changed and my heart suddenly started to pick up speed.
I had been doing really good keeping my heart rate at a more steady pace but the way that he was looking at me really had me on edge.
"Hasn't anyone ever told you to control the speed of your heart when you are around a vampire?" He said and a half-smile appeared
