Azariah's POV:
Standing there watching, listening, it felt like hours even though it was just a few minutes after we had hooked a bag of my blood up for the transfusion. We had no idea if this would work, we didn't know if this would kill her or not. Vampire blood isn't like human blood. We don't exactly have A, AB, O blood, or anything like that. It's just blood but different. It doesn't have red or white blood cells which is why it isn't the same color. A regular vampire's blood is very black in color because it really is just dead. The venom kills everything including their blood and that's where the foul smell comes from, death.
Parts of me are dead also. I may be part human but I'm half-vampire too which means the vampire in me is dead. Almost the only organs that are alive
