The moment she entered her dorm room, she started crying out. She sat on her bed, tears refused to stop flowing. She was scared that Lake might really break up with her. She knew she started this relationship in hopes that she would fall in love with Lake and would end up breaking up with him. However, when made to face that very thing, she found herself disliking it.
She worried that Lake might actually break up with her because her mouth was unstoppable. She probably should not have snapped at Lake. Maybe she should grab her phone and call him? Apologize to him and beg for his forgiveness? But she knew she could not do that. Her pride would not let her do so. Plus, there was the lack of assurance that Lake would listen to her apology.
