Lake abruptly turned around and came face-to-face with a middle aged woman. “Mom?!”
Whispers filled the air along with confused stares as they stared at the grinning short middle aged woman and along with another short and pretty female.
“Ayanna, is it?” the middle aged woman, Mrs. Pavia, cooed. “You’re prettier than I’ve heard.”
Being complimented like that, Ayanna felt awkward. Especially since Lake’s mom was a beauty as well. While she looked like a middle aged woman, she still gave out a youthful vibe. Like Lake, her complexion was tanned although not as tanned as her son. She was not thin and she was short but was a few inches taller than Ayanna.
