Cassian’s POV I rushed to my basecamp using my super speed but didn't stop there. Instead I sped past the forest ridges, my body slicing through the air like an arrow. I moved towards my mother's pack. I was fast— but not fast enough to outpace the pounding in my chest. Not from the run. Not even from the thrill that her pack was approved and I was holding the documents. Of course I was happy for my mother.
