“Are you sure it’s okay for me to be so obvious?” I ask grandmother as we walked to the center of the town. She looked older than normal it looks as if with every step she took her life was being drained. However, she give me a grin of pearly white and takes my hand. “I’m not but we clearly are losing time, and this is the fastest way I can help you.” I nod and glace at my dress one more time. It is a bright mossy green with many different flower patterns and vines going up along my legs all the way to my hair creating a flower and vine crown that tied my hair up into a knotted bun. My wings were started to hum under my skin, it was becoming an itching feeling the farther we walked. People were very aware of us and their eyes didn’t faultier, some bowed other nodded but they all stared. “Not yet.” She hush at me or more so to my direction but not really to me. The humming stopped and she starts to look like herself again that when I noticed the warm feeling from our hands then back at her, her eye’s became a brilliant green her skin ageless and glowing her hair grained it’s shine, I realize she was channeling my energy until we reach a small shrine. The second we get to the ground I can see a perfect circle with pine trees and tall flowers enclosing a building appears to be made from the grounds around it with a round shape and vine made door there are windows but they had petals so the vanes on the them created an interesting patterns. We walk to the door no longer holding my hand the powers growing inside my body start to hum again, “Take a breath and push that hum from the top of your head to the sole of your feet to the ground.” Grandmother says in a low tone following her instructions I focus on the hum it was just under my skin on the nerves and the harder I focus on it the stronger the hum got that by the time I pushed it to the ground it felt as if I was walking in an earthquake. We push the vines aside and step in the petals create a beautiful cotton candy rainbow inside from four windows shining down at the middle of the rather large building. It was a pale tan with roots as pillars and beams the bones of this place. And in the center of it all is a trunk connecting the top and bottom of building. “Go to the tree and place your hands on it.” She whispers standing at the door. I do as I am told looking back at her half way then continue taking care of where I step now because the green grass have grown reaching to my knees by the time I reached the tree the floor have become green with many flowers blooming all the way to the walls and it didn’t stop I try to ignore the amazing sight before me and touch the tree. “What now?” I ask. She begins chanting in our ancient language I start to follow then she stops I start to follow suit, but she shakes her head, so I start from the beginning as she chants something else. The feeling of my powers growing comes back this time making my wings rip from beneath my skin causing tears to fall. What came next was something I was not prepare for, a man voice came echoing through my head it was a pounding, unhuman sound as it starts to change from a man to a boys it get changed and distorted as they start to melt together my nail dig into the tree I take a breath in and push the voice out toning the cries begging me to now let go, it hurt so much like my heart was being torn into two and my reason for living was fading but my grandmother chanting held me at the shrine I did not know those voice so I had to let it go, I had to ground myself here it is my duty I must be strong. Taking another breath I start to understand the chants translating the words roughly, a light clicks it was a transferring spell to help the lands, understanding what I have to do I place my other hand on the tree easing my first hold I had as the voice grew dim and continue the transferring chant with her feeling my power an warming heat sensation forming in several points of my body they almost get to the point of boiling as it left through my fingertips into the tree. The sun sets and the petals change color dripping in sweat and out of breath I finally let go of the tree and sink down to the ground I rest my head on the root that rises to meet my head comfortably. “Who were the voices?” I ask after a long silence. “Don’t worry about it sweetie, once you are feeling strong enough, we will head about to the castle.” I don’t question her then close my eyes to rest. That was one thing I wish I hadn’t because the second I do I feel like I will never wake up, I stand there looking at things, memories? Maybe? I was floating staring into a large room with tall windows or frames since there was nothing preventing the gentle breeze and luring comfort rays of the sun the colors made it obvious that I was in the fea world it was a slight red with an orange tint to it however even if I hadn’t noticed the sun the room alone made it clear since the inside was a vibrant green caused by the vines and leaves running along the walls as pillars or main stricture of the walls while when you look up you see a pink ceiling I wonder if they were like the temple and were petals I take a glance around I can see the doors also towering over everything and they were a bright blue if the bright colors there wasn’t enough a mirror that was the size of the wall made the room more unveiling blooming into a different dimension if you stared to long and I do believe I have many times in many lives but this is not a time to reminisce it seem we are onto the next scene. The first was a baby and women siting in the overly giant room to a ball with fea flying drinking chatting laughing and a four year old blond princess running around with a treat in hand the ballroom was more of a field with white pillars outlining the dance floor that was just stone. Music played and it was a carefree day, time flashes to another big day, that day, they day I almost die. This continues over and over again my head ached, my body shivers and my heart breaks, I choke on sobs as I feel the near death so many times I fear it would never end I believe the pain everyone and thing had to fight against. The bond that was created passed the words however does not come out nor do the lips moves and the boy face is erased from my memories so when he appears that is how the scene plays but they pasted just like the other it was all of my lives. I open my eyes to a white Victorian style room the bed large I sigh what is with this place? Who need this big of a bed? I wonder feeling the silk like texture and it was amazingly comforting, I had the erge to stay where I am but as tempting it is to go back to bed the thought of sleeping this ache away was a beautiful thought so I rest my head back down for a while more. Getting back was difficult I was weak from the shock and pain that came from remembering my horrible lives and learning that my grandmother is close to death had me on the edge so I had demanded myself to stay on my own two feet to go lay down I didn’t utter a word but I looked tired and want nothing more than to sleep I know I had been followed by many other people to my original room in the castle so if anyone needed my they knew where to find me. After waking up for the second time the luring thought that I could just sleep a little bit longer was still dancing on the edge of my mind but the anxious Isaac on the other side of the door made me get out of the bed practically crawling to the edge before hopping out into some slipper. I go to the door and do my best to stuff a yawn. I stretched my arms and shacked myself mentally before opening the door. “Isaac?” I asked peeking out the door, “Is there hole in the floor yet?” He had stop passing mid-step and turned to look at me then pulled me into a big bear hug. “How can you make a joke right now do you know how worried we all were. I told her it was still early your powers were new to this body what would we do if something happened to you, we would be lost then….” His ranting was a shock my cool level-head brother with the known all attitude was nowhere to be seen, “Is everything okay?” I ask grabbing his hands in mine trying to calm his nerves and it works he takes a breath taking in the fresh air that Ivearona has. “Yes, well no.” He looks away I rise a brow? “Which is it? I am going to take it as a no if you don’t answer.” I ask him and gave him a few minutes to answer but when he didn’t, I huffed and answered myself then went back into the room. “Where are you going are you still not feeling well?” He asked worried he seems so different at the moment I wasn’t sure I was talking to my brother, so I pull the door open then turn before walking in. “I’m fine I need the caffeine goodness they have and a meeting with all the leaders. I am going to change please get that done and have shay come get me I’ll be done in a few minutes. “I’ll have Alzir get that ready for you I will stay here.” I nod, “Can you still get Shay I need help.” I just assume he does what I ask and shut my door before getting his responds. I head to my closet and stare at the large second room attached to mine and started at awe the amount of clothes here was amazing there was so many in all types of colors I could die of happiness, I stuck in a breath, “SSS, not the best of chooses of words their girl.” I suck in a breath as I mutter to myself before changing into the closes things I could get to leggings and a t-shirt. I hear a knock at the door it was quick and stopped at two. “Shay glad you’re here. Walk me to the meet?” I ask she gives me a questionable look. “Of course?” “Safe to say the unseelie is on the move?” I ask to Isaac and Shay I knew he wasn’t going to answer so I look at shay and rise a brow, she nods after a few seconds. “Are they in Ivearona?” “No.” “Where are they?” I ask “We…” “We will talk about this at the meet I assume so wait and ask there.” Isaac cut Shay off before she answered. “Yes, I know however I would like to know somethings, so I don’t look like a hopeless teen talking to a s**t ton of old people.” “Ivey! What did I say about your language.” I hear from behind me I turn to see my mother and a tall black hair man with a pointy nose and lots of similar futures of Isaac, dad. “Dad when did you wake up?” We had stopped walking at the raised voice a shiver ran down my spine. Isaac bows to them. Happy to see him again I run and hug them both. “Thanks to her I was give enough energy to replenish and wake.” I could hear the smile above my head as he pat it. I take a step back trying to keep my emotions together even though I want to cry, shout in angry, jump in joy and frustrated with myself. “Well shall we get going it seems we are the last to arrive to the meeting.” My mother says taking my father arm I nod and turn to continue to the large room with all the fancy dressed fea’s waiting on us to arrive. When my brother and shay open the door to the room with many different fea’s sitting all stand then bow deeply to us, me? I look at the ones I was with and then were also bowing that is when I see my grandmother behind us. “What is going on?” I ask her. “Two days ago, you had taken on the crown, well metaphorically speaking, after you gave the realm some life it in returned gave you the job of being the seeds protector making you the new queen.” She bows to me not as deep but just a small head nod and then takes my hand. “This maybe sudden but don’t worry we will all help you and when you are ready you will be officially announced as the new queen. Thanks to the new energy in the fea’s we will be able to guard the castle and with you having the realms blessing finally for the first time ever that you will be will protected and powerful.” I blink. “However, that doesn’t mean we are safe.” My brother says taking a seat the other fea’s lift their heads but don’t sit until we were. “Very true Isac’iac, then what do we have?” “Well for now the Unseelie king cannot get to Ivearona and we know where he was as of last Wednesday, we lost sight of him once he stopped going to the school however it seems that there are a few students that also have stopped going as well and we are suspecting them to be the fea’s stolen. Since Ivey isn’t going to go back to school, he has lost that interest.” “We can’t forget that he might be mad that we got rid of the dream shade.” “Let’s not forgot that when Ivey went to the sacred grounds, she severed the last of his curse that he put upon her and he can no longer temp her to leave the grounds to harm willy-nilly.” Adela says beaming, she definitely did not look as if she was sick or on the brink of death at the moment which I know is supposed to be a good thing but when you can hid that look with glamour so I wasn’t sure if she was really feeling better. I look around the room the fea were happy and approve of all the good news they murmured bobbing their heads and then one someone asked, “Do we know where he is now?” mom shakes her head, “We do not however, I believe we will be able to catch him.” “Will he be able to get back to Ivearona?” Another asked. “Not from the Seelie lands no there is no way and unless he has a fea that can make a portal which is a low chance since there are not many that can however, we have fea’s with scans listening for any portal activity everywhere.” Isaac responds this time. “What will be the next step? Get her properly crowned, yes?” A much, much old fea ask he had a long beard and was brushing it down with one hand his off purple and pink sink shined in the bright lights his yellow eyes bored a hole into my head I blink I didn’t see the problem with that but it is a bit early my powers just fully woken. “At this moment, the timing is not right we are going to train her and as soon as she has a handle on things, we will present the crown to her.” My grandmother spoke her voice high and rang over the quite mummers. “How long are we supposed to wait? Some of or harvest are dwindling as we speak. If she is crowned now and learn as she goes, we will have a stronger army, more food, and healthy lands. I believe we have given her enough time to get use to things. She is royal fea she need to take up the role chosen for her. You my queen know more than I do that we are running out of time.” The same old man spoke louder this time almost as if he was challenging us. I see Isaac’s hands clench and unclench a few times before my grandmother speaks once more her voice had an edge of annoyance this time. “And what do you know of the time she has been given? She has only just woke up a half an hour knows little to nothing about running a kingdom or keeping the land of our realm healthy, what if we do as you say and instead of keeping peace she gets upset and because she can’t keep her magic from reacting to her emotion she ends up creating a storm destroying fields, homes, businesses or worst hurts someone? Would you think she would be able to handle the consequences or the pain and you would you just forgive her and think nothing of it? That answer is no, she will feel terrible, scared and her reign would be weak because we tossed her into the deep end without thinking ahead, and you lord Ki’java would blame and her and divide us. We don’t have the time to fully get her to point she needs I agree however we think before acting we are in sensitive times; however, I know we will be able to get through this. I myself am already feeling better after her visit to the shrine and I know you all feel that as well. I will ask you my friends and allies to help keep our lands safe for a little while longer and we will come back to you stronger and with the head of the want-to-be king on a platter.” The hall goes quiet as they take in the words of their radiant queen, she was glowing in her normal fea form she was tall slender with hauntingly beautiful sharp features she had he wings flowing from her shoulders as if they were another layer of skin they were translucent with soft colors of reds and greens, they hugged her back flowed down her dress. I had the urge to clap however that would be rude sound I mentally did a cheer for her she was looking healthier by the minute. I tilt my head, ‘She is looking younger.’ I look over the tables with many leaders they are looking brighter, and their hair was slowly looking like color was coming back to them. She was right I am getting stronger and it’s showing in the fea’s around me, the Lord Ki’java grunts leaning back in his chair folding his arms across his chest. Isaac and my father finish the meeting with explaining the changes around the boarders asking for stronger warriors from the villages and towns to rotate the shifts so that those that live there won’t have to work overtime. The time went by slow the fea leaders were all opinionated and had to fight us on almost everything I did not get it. After everything was said and done we had the beginnings of a way of attack and defense, they started to came up one at a time to wish us well and left some would stop to welcome us back one fea that had a figure of a women but look nothing like one ask to hold my hand for a few seconds I give my grandmother a question look she nods and so I hold my left hand out. Her bone fingers rest lightly under my palm then breaths in after a couple of seconds she smiles. Turning to my family she bows then does the same to rest of room before leaving not saying a word. I tilt my head confused, “We’ll talk about it later.” I nod and let the rest come up Lord Ki’java talks to Alzir and my father seeming more comfortable with them. There is going to be lost I will have to learn about how to interact with some of these fea’s the are nothing like humans abut then again, I wasn’t even good at that. I sigh as I get out of my chair. Isaac comes over his face has gone to its original look it was kind of creepy but not as surprising, the longer I stay here the easier it gets to seeing the many different fea’s the earth descriptions were all extremely off. “How was your first meeting?” He ask, he was taller then usual so I crank my neck higher and sigh once more he laughs, “Yeah its’s never easy they all have great leadership and care for their people so they like to make sure they are heard, however some tend to be greedy so be careful.” He pats my head, “Already I need to head to the board lands and start training the new recruits, Alzir and I will be there for a few months. You better be safe, and no going to earth, I already have all our stuff moved back here it is in the east wing of the castle you can go through it and throw away things you don’t want my stuff was moved to my rooms so you don’t have to worry about it.” I nod and smiled, “Be safe, when do you think you’ll be back?” He shrugs and then leans on my head as we wait at the elevator, “What about Uncle Antony’s things?” I ask then someone takes my hand. “We can go through it together.” It was my mom however she was in her human form. I just nod then we step into the elevator. “In the meantime, while he is away, we are going to work on your magic and you’ll be coming to more of the meetings to get use to the setting.” My father says he was behind my mother holding her waist, “You are also going to keeping doing your combat training,” Isaac includes. “I want to see how you do with potions, so we are going to work on that for a few weeks.” Grandma says. Then I hear a sigh I turn to look at my mom she was shaking her head then glared at them. “Have you all forgotten she has just woken up after sleeping for two straight days. She will not go to another meeting unless necessary we are here; we can handle it until she is feeling better the same goes for combat training. Now I am hungry let’s eat and have a more pleasant conversation.” Isaac mumbles a sorry then says, “But we have to being going.” Before he come finish his objection, he gets the stare combined with her killer smiles and says, “We are going to have a nice family meal before you go, and you will eat and enjoy your time with your family for the first time in a very long time.” He shuts his mouth and nods. He head to the kitchen and follow her orders as we prepare and cook our food. It was fun we laughed and enjoyed the time together. Once we were done eating we send Isaac, Alzir and a few others off wishing them safe travels. Teleporting wasn't allowed unless in a emergency since those tracking the unseelie king wouldn't be able to distinguish who is making them. "Shall we go through the things your brother brought over?" My mom ask wrapping a arm around my shoulders. I nod with a smile.
