chapter seventeen

Adela pov

“Your majesty!” My normal maid enters the room with more pep in her step,

“How was your check with Ivey?” Ivey has been exploring Ivearona for most of the day so to see if my potions worked, I sent her to check it out,

“She is doing great, having a lot of fun and everywhere she goes the lands along with the fea’s seem to have become a hundred years younger and feeling great it seems that you have succeeded.” She was beaming proud and full of energy. I smile with a nod,

“That’s great you may have the rest of the day off.” Her eyes go wide and with the most joy I have ever seen on her nodded and practically ran out the door.

Ivey pov

“So what do you do when you come here?” I ask Seth we leave the fourth shop we ate at his favorite restaurant then he showed me to clothe shops and jewelry stores then we had visit a flower place which was my favorite thus far, there was so many exotic types of plants that I’ve never seen before. He shifted a bag to the other hand, he bought everything we got today since I didn’t have the correct currency, I also insisted that I would by him back, but he would distract me with something else.

“I don’t usually come to town, I prefer the woods and the natures around us, we can just go for a walk.” He shrugs,

“But won’t those get heavy?” I ask pointing at the bags he shrugs and then in a puff of green they were gone, my eyes go wide, “Where did they go?” I gasp. He smiles one of his hands find my cheek.

“They are at my house here for now, I used a transportation spell.” I make a ‘Oh’ then flush and move out of his touch. When we were on earth, I found him to be extremely attractive but now I have a feeling that has been pulling at me I try to ignore it but it’s starting to eat away at me. “Are you alright?” He ask his hand reaches and puts it against my forehead. “It seems that we have pushed you too much I think it is time to go back.” I groan,

“But I am having a lot of fun.” He smiles at me it was small and sweet.

“I know but you look like you could use a nap.” I nod I was feeling drained for the last hour.

“Let’s go I guess.” I mumble and turn back to the castle. He turns and takes my hand,

“Let me take you to my favorite place first you can rest there then we will go back.” My face must have revealed my excitement because he chuckles as he starts to walk still in the direction of the castle but halfway there we turn onto a path that was barely visible we weave our way through trees and over stumps we walked farther than I was expecting but it was worth it because at the end of the twisty and trying path was water shinier than anything that I have seen and pink a soft pale pick I gasp in awe running to the river bank. I cup some in my hands it was still pink I couldn’t believe it. I stood there in amazement,

“It’s pink!” I squeal out loud laughing like a little kid in a candy shop. I look back at Seth who was smiling so lovingly, I can see the amusement on his face. I flush remembering that this is normal here. My face goes bright red I look away back to the water I splash some on my face to cool off. Then I bend down once more to get another hand full and taste the water, “IT’S sweet.” I gasp at the new discovery. I hear the crunching of his shoes on the ground as he moves next to me then he lays on his back.

“It’s great here right.” He chuckles looking at me. I smile and nod then resting back next to him.

“Yeah.” I murmur, the sun was beaming down on us giving the most wonderful warmth I have ever felt, that I couldn’t help but let my eyelids drop.

“Ivey?” I hear a males voice in my head, slowly but steady it starts to get louder with more of pleading in his voice it was as if he was on the edge of crying out from pain. “Ivey? Where are you Ivey?”

“Ivey?” I hear my name coming from a familiar voice Seth’s, I think. I blink the sun had gone down and I could see two moons in the sky poking out from the trees. “Ivey are you alright?" He asked face hovering over mine worried wrote all over it. I sigh and raise myself onto my elbow he moves back as I did so. I nod,

“Yeah, I just had a strange dream.” I look back at the sky, “How long did I sleep?” I ask a hand moves to my head I slowly rub my temple.

“Too long I had to call your brother, sorry.” He looked so apologetic. I smile and give him a hug.

“It’s alright I would have done the same thing, is he on his way?” I ask looking around hearing rustling behind us along with shouting, “Never mind his is here.” I sigh removing myself from him and getting up brushing my dress off.

“… I was right we should have, IVEY!” Isaac shouted my name and ran my way fussing over me touching my forehead and brushing my hair down and plucking the grass out of it. I smile at the man he was always worrying

“I’m sorry to scary you like that brother I just needed some sleep.” He snorted.

“Then sleep in your bed, you shouldn’t scary everyone like that you were sleeping for four hours, I just back with the third around of waking potion.” He shakes his head I look at Seth,

"Four hours?” I mouth at him he nods. I groan,

“I’m truly sorry brother.”

“Don’t be it was my fault.” Adela say stepping away from the crowd. “I must have put too much farth root in the mixer I gave you it is a draining root if too much is ingested.” She sighs shaking her head.

“Grandmother it is not like you to mess things up like that.” Isaac gasp.

“Indeed.”

“I’m not sure that is what it was. I heard my name being called with a desperate plead.” I started to try and put the pieces together, but grandma places my hands in hers,

“Please don’t dig at that, it a trap from the unseelies. I think it’s best if you come back to earth, okay?” I nod and we head back to earth. Once we were in the lobby, she takes my hands and says,

“Help me finish the decorations we are almost done then we will get something to eat, your mom will be there she the one cooking.” Her smile was bright, so I nod. I haven’t talked to her since she went back to Ivearona last week.
