Could this pain have something to do with Blair and was I somehow feeling it through our mate bond? But I had left her safely in our room, so what could possibly be wrong? The pain was intense, my heart hammering wildly in my chest.
"Blair" I rasped and James's eyes widened as realization dawned, his own head c*****g. We all heard it then, our sensitive wolf hearing picking it up. We heard a bloodcurdling scream coming from upstairs. It was most definitely coming from Blair.
"Blair" I thundered, getting to my feet and dashing through the door, dimly aware that James and Alpha Cody were following me. I tore upstairs, breathing heavily, rushing into our room to see it was empty, and heard sobbing coming from behind the bathroom door.
