The next month Braedon was busy, traveling back and forth from our pack to the ones involved in the trafficking. His methods of dealing with the Alpha were ruthless. He needed to make an example out of them and show that he was prepared to oversee the laws he had established. He executed them all, putting trustworthy people in their positions. Some Betas and Gammas were also responsible and dealt the same fate. It was quickly spreading that King Braedon was not about to be lenient when it came to those who had deliberately disobeyed him and it was making some of the packs nervous, while others were celebrating the packs that were being brought down. It was a tumultuous time for me, and I spent many a sleepless night, staring down into the starry night from the balcony.
