I came out of the bathroom feeling a thousand times more refreshed than before.
For the first time in two days, I didn’t smell like betrayal, smoke, or a Khra'gixxian prince.
All I wanted was to fall into the oversized bed and collapse like a corpse. I didn’t care that I was technically a captive in a city of nightmares. I was exhausted. Sleep was sleep, even in hell.
