“We need to send them a message,” I told Warren as we had our morning meeting. It had been days since she was in my office, and nothing had changed.
“What type of message, Alpha?” He asked, his head still bowed in submission. Warren was valuable to my pack in the sense that he was physically strong, and he was good at training inexperienced wolves. I didn’t have the patience or the desire to engage in training sessions. Being feared gave me the advantage. I’d like to keep it that way by keeping my distance.
“A love letter,” I said sarcastically. Pausing to see his reaction, there was none. “No, not a love letter, you i***t. Bring me one of their pack members. A man. Now.”
