Alpha Noah's POV
"You seem to be in a better mood today"
I looked up at my beta who was observing me all this while. He was smiling slightly, his eyes had a knowing look in them, "Why would you say that?" I asked, shrugging indifferently.
"You are smiling, Alpha" He responded, "You haven't done that since she left"
He knew me well. That is why he was chosen to be my beta in the first place. I couldn't struggle to hide my smile anymore, "She answered my call" I admitted, looking away. Even though he is my beta, I still felt somewhat awkward letting him know about my personal affairs.
But then, I had no one else to talk about it except for him.
I heard him chuckle, "Ahhh, so that's why you're in a good mood," He said, "Good for you, Alpha. I am happy for you" He said.
