Tiffany's facial expression was something I would never be able to forget in my life. It gave me a sense of satisfaction to watch her eyes widen in terror as her companion fell to the ground with a loud thud. I made a mental note to retrieve that male vampire later.
He doesn't deserve to have an easy death. Not after what he had done to Cora. I would make him regret the day he was born when I tortured him every day, bringing him closer to death but not really.
Cora let out a breath of relief, and a beautiful smile lit up her face. I wanted to rush to her, gather her in my arms, and make all of her sufferings fade, but Tiffany was still there, standing by her. It would be hard to shoot down a vampire as old as her, considering vampires become stronger as they age.
