Alexis rose early to watch the sky blaze orange and gold hues as the suns rose over the canyon ridge. She began to understand why gypsies held the four goddesses of the elements in such high regard and generally over the other Chosen. Long forgotten by other peoples, the ancient goddesses were said to move, change and grow with the world. Watching the fiery colors spread across the sky, Alexis wondered if the goddesses were real and if they still lived.
