Deepika's POV
I open my eyes. I take in my surroundings. I am in a clearing. On grass. But somehow, I can't feel the grass. I look front and see Carl. And it's night already. Dark. But somehow, I am able to see clearly. Very clear.
"Carl!!!" I try to talk.
But no voice comes out. I try to talk again. But nothing. I am screaming inside. I really am!! But no sound is audible. Why?
"Hi!" A voice squeals.
And I jump. But there is no movement. I can't even feel the grass or the ground under my feet. I look down and I stare at my paws.
Wait!
Paws??
"I'm your wolf, Anna" the same voice says.
My wolf? And these paws? Is this why I am able to see even through the dark? Is this why I can't feel the grass?
Because I am now a werewolf???
