Aiden's POV
The walk to the dungeons was silent. I expected Eric would find his mate soon. But didn't expect that to be a rogue. And from the enemy clan being a brownie point.
Nadia was a rogue as well. But this is an entire different case. If Primrose is just a usual rogue, I would have accepted her into my pack and the mate of my Gamma. But that's not the case. I don't even know what kind of threats Eric would be facing from now on because of his mate.
"Then what are we gonna do?" I ask Eric.
He looks at me. Shrugs once. Looks down to the ground again and locks his gaze on to the soil as we walk further.
"Reject her, I guess" he whispers.
Rejection??
"I mean, it's only fair I go through heartbreak once instead of putting the whole pack in danger" he whispers again.
