I hear my phone vibrate, just as I’m waking up. I crawl out of Zac’s embrace to the end table, to grab it. It’s a text from Sadie. She has been texting and calling a lot lately. She’s coming down this weekend for the Luna ceremony, and she’s always just calling with questions about the pack. Asking how certain things are done or wondering what to expect. Now that her parents have joined our pack, she’s going to too.
