The ride to the hospital was awkwardly silent... So silent that Jamie ended up dozing off in his car seat. Saul kept his eyes on the road. His mouth a thin line and his jaw clenched tightly while he drove them through the quiet, empty streets. The rising sun blinding them at times as Jo thought of a way to undo the harm, to start over again without being a complete asshole.
Before she knew it, they´d parked at the hospital and Saul turned the car off, sighing deeply before taking the keys out.
-Ok, we´re here- He whispered more to himself than to anyone else- I´ll get your things.
