Dana POV I'm clutching at straws. I don't know what else to do. I want Hunter back, the real Hunter, the one who knows me, who sees me, and who loves me. Not this man, this stranger in front of me, staring at me as though I'm something fascinating that he has yet to uncover, like an enigma he can't explain. I want my fiancee, the one who would do anything to protect me and who would go to the ends of the earth in order to make sure that I was safe. I wanted the man I had fallen in love with, the kind, sweet, gentle, caring man I had first laid eyes on in a bar when I was working in a small town. I wanted my Hunter. This man, polite, reserved, civil, was nothing like him. The only thing I could think of was to try and tease his memory, to do something that would immediately spark some sort
