Hunter POV I watched Dana walk away, feeling dumbfounded. I could have sworn that I had only been gone for a few minutes, but I felt as though I was missing something vital that had happened in the meantime. Dana's shoulders were slumped as she made her way out of the room, and she looked dejected and miserable. I felt protective, even as Sandra clutched possessively at my arm, winding hers in mine and drinking a glass of champagne with me, as though celebrating something. “I should go and see if she’s okay” I murmured, preparing to put down the glass and go after my stepsister.
