Lilah POV:
Reaching a clearing of wildflowers Sky comes to a stop and flops down on her belly letting out a loud huff.
“It wasn’t his fault” I murmur to Sky quietly.
“No but he should have been more aware of someone who had already been acting disrespectfully towards us. People are desperate for power” Sky huffs back to me hurt.
“I know Sky, I’m hurt too. It’s not a nice thing to walk in on seeing someone else about to f**k your mate” I say grimacing to myself as the memory flashes through our mind.
She stands up and wanders over to a small stream looking down at her reflection letting the soothing sound of the water calm her down.
“He will be worried about us” she says quietly letting me know she thinks we should lower our block.
