Lilah POV:
I stare at the tree line ahead of us unsure of what’s to come, I can hear the faint sound of movement moving closer extremely quickly.
“He’s using his vampire speed” I let everyone know. My fathers eyes narrow as he stares ahead and Liam grasps my hand tightly showing he’s with me.
Suddenly the bushes rustle and Zanders tall self steps forward menacingly. I could see his eyes blazing with fury as he locks his gaze on me.
“Lilah” he growls at me before stopping about 50metres away.
“Zander” I say looking at him clearly.
“You tricked me” he states simply c*****g his head at me.
“Are you surprised?” I calmly ask.
With that he laughs at me whilst shaking his head, “no not really, although I did think your exit may be a bit more dramatic than what it was in the end.”
