DUNCAN As the convoy arrives to take us to Gutenberg's hotel, I try to catch up with June for a shared ride and conversation, but she skips ahead, following Grace. Upon arrival, the hotel staff warmly welcomes us. A young woman named Faith, approaches me, guiding us to the family suite on the twentieth floor, complete with four bedrooms—enough for both June and me, even though I have no intention of separating rooms. "I can't go up there." There you go. June faces me with a look on her face that tells me she's not settling for any bargain.
