I intended to arrive this late. It was fashionable to arrive late for any event– be it formal parties, corporate events, or even informal ones like this. I knew it had begun hours ago and was now in full swing. I was all right with that.
I walked towards the entrance hall in my long white bohemian dress, covering my white bikini top and bottom inside. Whatever happens, even if they threw me in the pool, I was ready. Not that it would happen of course, but there was nothing wrong to be up for it.
