People might say I am overprotective and completely out of line when Gracie was concerned but explaining to everybody why I was acting this way was never part of my plan. They could think whatever they want and I could care less.
No one would know of our difficulties as we weather all storms in our lives, with just the two of us. I had her when I was barely a man myself. I wasn’t even legal when she came into the world. We practically grew up together and became best of friends, not just father, and daughter. Allies through and through, she may do some wrong but I would never judge her.
