Third Person POV Mick swore as he saw the broken glass on the grass outside his back door, his instincts immediately picking up the dried blood on the window pane. The glass was on the outside, rather than the inside. He swore silently, feeling dread pool in his stomach. Had what he dreaded come to pass? He licked his lips, feeling sick, and then opened the door, sniffing, on high alert. But there was nothing. He slammed his bag down and stormed towards the basement door, apprehension sweeping over him. He was back from that blasted trip to the Silver Fang Pack and he was extremely hungover.
