Third Person POV “Because of you, I never strayed too far from the sidewalk” sang Rosalie, her voice cracking slightly as she sat on the mattress, an old clock ticking incessantly away on the wall in the basement, its endless ticking annoying her, as it counted down the minutes, her voice rising slightly as she continued to sing, her voice like an angel’s, the sound carrying through the room, but not penetrating the walls which were soundproof. There was nobody to hear her sing, but herself. She put all her anguish, her sorrow, her grief, her pain into it, letting her voice say what she couldn’t.
