Third Person POV He strode through the hallways, listening to the incessant voice, heading to the one place he knew would offer at least some form of sanctuary. The rose garden. The one place the servants wouldn’t venture and where he could take some time out and just calm himself. Where he wouldn’t be ogled and where the fresh air would touch his skin and he could feel the warmth of the sun. The one place where the air wasn’t damp and full of mildew or smelt stale. It was a small mercy he was able to venture outside at all. He strode into the garden, inhaling the sweet perfume drifting from the various types of roses littering the garden, tantalizing his senses, and sat in the gazebo, his expression dark and brooding.
