The night before the wedding had come into reality as Autumn found herself clawing at the nails that held the bars in place-desperate to find a way out. Even if she couldn’t stop the wedding and even if Declan would never remember their time together, she had to escape for her own sake. She knew of too much corruption to die like a rat in a cellar, having endured so much just to die in a way that had been so incredibly anticlimactic. She couldn’t bare it, and so, she made her way towards each crevice of the room she was in, trying to create a prison stinger out of anything she could to hopefully seer her way through the metal or melt it enough to fold it down to break her way through.
