I sent a mind link to Gideon explaining what had happened and asked that he alert the pack's doctor that we would need him upon our arrival. I was carefully running through the forest as Danika laid sleeping in my arms, well at least I hoped she was sleeping. I knew I would be faced with a barrage of questions when I got back to the pack, and I had some of my own. How the hell did these wolves find us, and who sent them? If I had to put money on it I would say it was Anthony and his minions but, I couldn't be entirely sure. Still, it seemed slightly strange to me and very set up.
