Grandpa sat across from me telling me about the fall out between him and his only child. He said it all began when grandma passed away and mom went on a search for a new life of her own. She chose my douchebag of a father over my grandpa. He said he knew the day he met him that he wasn't right, something was off. I didn't tell him about the abuse yet, instead I just let him know mom needs to leave him. "I'll let your mom know, you are more than welcome to live in my home."
