I can’t stop thinking about how Freya’s lips had felt against mine. Her kiss had surprised me, but in the best possible way. It hadn’t been a mistake in the heat of a private moment. It had been a declaration in front of witnesses and my heart is still pounding in my chest from it. Am I one step closer to earning her forgiveness?
When I’d shown her my plans for the rogue lands and told her my idea of handing it over to the Crescent Moon Pack, I thought she would very quickly agree it was a good idea, but she hadn’t. Instead, she was concerned that I was giving up on a dream I had envisioned for this place and the future of my pack.
