“Freya, please turn back. None of us wants an altercation with you, but we are all under orders to keep you away. You know we can’t disobey those orders,” Joel says, his tone soft and his eyes full of pleading. I know Joel being here is no coincidence. They know he is the one guardian I won't fight.
