The rest of the evening passes too quickly. Damon and Darius leave and I hug them both, promising to stay in touch now that I have their phone numbers again. They are anxious about leaving Nyx behind, not because they’re worried about her safety, but more that she will be pissed at them for leaving without her. Niall assures them that he will make arrangements to return her to her pack when she is ready. I have a feeling she won’t be returning anytime soon, though.
Niall drives me and Neo home before the pack shifts to run as wolves. My dad offered to take Neo home, so I could run with the pack, but I’m tired, and he will probably enjoy the run more than me.
