We woke up on the palace rooftop, our bodies intertwined. Another fabulous night's sleep thanks to my mates. Well, mate, in this case. Xander and I fell asleep up here last night, where Levi and Harmony went. I don't know, but I have some ideas.
"Good morning." Xander said in a sleepy morning voice, tucking some of my tousled hair behind my ear. "Sleep okay?"
"Great, actually." I yawned, pulling one of our blankets a bit closer.
"I'm glad to hear that." He smiled. I smiled back. "We have a big day ahead of us, we should probably go get ready soon."
I nodded and leaned in, giving him one final lingering kiss. He seemed surprised by it, but didn't stop it. In fact, I think he encouraged it. He got us back inside the palace a few minutes later, and we parted ways to go shower
