"Careful, watch your step." Xander said, helping me down the mountain.
"I guess killing the Eternal Lycan took care of the rest of his army," Levi noted, walking hand in hand with Savannah.
"I guess so." I said, looking at what was once a battlefield, now filled with only the remnants of the fight.
There were a few dead bodies, but none of our enemy. The terrain has seen better days, the grass kicked up and muddy, and also a few fires burning in some tress, but no more enemies.
"What happens now?" Savannah quietly asked.
"Now we go home and heal and rebuild." Levi said, exchanging a long look with her.
Savannah didn't say a word or even blink. Levi was the first to break the stare. My heart slightly broke at the silent exchange.
