Damien's POV
I looked at Chloe as she slept quietly in our bed. I kissed her on her forehead and got out of bed. It's two in the morning, I have an errand to run, one she can't know about.
After what she told me about Derrick, I have no choice but to defend the woman I love. Derrick has crossed the line. He wants to force Chloe to be with him, and I won't allow that. The man is smarter than I would like to give him credit for.
Chloe wants a divorce from that man, I am going to make sure that he gives it to her. When I am done with him, he will regret the day he laid his hands on her. Derrick is much like my brother. Sneaky bastards are about to get what's coming to them.
