Lindsey's POV
Julian held my hand tightly as we climbed into the limousine, our car following Duncan's as we were heading toward his territory. The treaty had been signed, and we were delivering on it. Ricardo was coming with us, as were several of our warriors and unfortunately, we were leaving Liam and Max behind this time, having learned our lesson the hard way from taking them with us the last time. Liam's eyes were welling with tears as he waved goodbye from the front stoop, his nanny holding his hand tightly to prevent him from rushing forward, while Max wagged his tail from the front door, staying behind quite happily to my relief.
