It was a long, slow, torturous week. The pain I was in never let up, but it was made better by the fact that I was in a guest bedroom and not in the dungeon, something that had shocked and surprised me as I'd come back to consciousness with a start. At first, I thought there must have been a mistake, but Alpha Damian had personally come in to see if I was awake and to reassure me.
"You're to rest and recover in this bedroom" he had said with a firmness that astonished me "Luna Chelsea will abide by my orders."
