It turned out, my sister and her new husband had an apartment-ish type home in an abandoned two-story school. It was a pretty small school building over-all, but the rooms were large, and someone had knocked out the windows and replaced them with lumber shutters. I’m sure the glass had been broken long before, and probably not by the colonists. The whole Colony sat on a hill, and one side had a deep ravine, so all in all it was a rather defensible position, though I wasn’t sure if that was much deterrent to Demons or not. However, from what I understood from Jared and Stolas, the colonists had held the colony for quite a number of years because apparently, even the Demons hesitated to attack when they would be under direct fire climbing down and back up the ravine’s deep sides.
