The child within me grew at an alarming rate over the next few weeks, and I began to have nightmares about its appearance. That, combined with the pain of my lower back, strange zaps from my skin where it was forced to stretch so quickly, and the uncomfortable kicks aimed at all parts of my insides, left me exhausted and grumpy.
